How does it work?
You submit your case — symptoms, history, photos — through a structured form. The doctor reviews it and sends you a written medical report with conclusions and next steps.
Do I need an account to start a consultation?
No. You can start directly from your doctor's link, fill in your case, and confirm your email so you can safely return to your consultation.
Is it safe and trustworthy?
Yes. The doctor is verified and answers under their own name with a real medical report — not anonymous advice. Payment is secured and your data is protected.
Is online consultation legal in Romania?
Yes. Telemedicine is regulated in Romania, and the written consultation follows the doctor's professional standards.
What exactly do I get?
A written, structured medical report: the doctor's assessment, clear conclusions, and next steps. Not a quick chat — a document you keep.
How fast do I get an answer?
Within the timeframe shown for the consultation you choose. It's counted in the doctor's working hours (9 AM–9 PM), not around the clock.
How does payment work?
When you submit your request we place a hold (reserve the amount) on your card — you're not charged yet. You're charged only when the report is delivered. If the doctor doesn't respond in time, the hold is released automatically and you're never charged.
Can I get treatment recommendations or a prescription?
The doctor can recommend medications, doses, and how to take them in writing, as part of the treatment plan. National-system prescriptions (subsidized, antibiotics, or other special categories) aren't issued here — those require an in-person visit.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your data and medical files are transmitted securely and are visible only to your doctor.
Is this for emergencies?
No. For emergencies or severe symptoms, call 112 or go to the emergency room. off.clinic is for non-urgent cases.
How do I reach a doctor?
Your doctor shares their off.clinic link with you. Open it and you go directly to their page, where you choose the consultation and submit your case. It's not a marketplace: you reach your doctor, not a list to pick from.
