terms of service
Last updated: April 3, 2026
1. nature of the service
off.clinic is a platform for non-emergency written consultations and medical opinions delivered by independent clinicians. It is not an emergency service and does not replace in-person care where examination, procedures, testing, or immediate intervention are required.
The platform is primarily doctor-led. In certain approved categories, off.clinic may also approve other licensed independent specialists, such as dietitians, where remote written guidance is lawful and appropriate.
important
- Do not use the platform for medical emergencies. In an emergency, call 112.
- The platform does not provide real-time monitoring.
- The platform does not automatically issue prescriptions, sick leave certificates, or autonomous clinical decisions.
2. roles of the parties
- The clinician is solely responsible for the medical opinion, triage, recommendations, and compliance with applicable professional standards.
- off.clinic provides the technical infrastructure, messaging workflow, payment handling, and fiscal-document flow described on the platform.
- off.clinic may verify right-to-practice status and identity consistency before activating a digital practice on the platform.

3. platform limits and non-medical-device positioning
- off.clinic is a communication and record-handling tool for written consultations.
- Within the intended use described on the platform, off.clinic does not autonomously diagnose, autonomously recommend treatment, or monitor physiological parameters in real time.
- The clinician receives and can review the patient's raw submission; any structured view or summary is secondary and does not replace the clinician's own review.
- If the patient's situation requires examination, testing, prescribing, or urgent escalation, the clinician may refuse, redirect, or close the request.
4. user obligations
- You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information to the extent known.
- You must not upload unlawful, malicious, or rights-infringing content.
- You must use the platform only for situations compatible with an asynchronous, written, non-urgent workflow.
- The current consultation-request flow is available only to adults aged 18 or over.
- You are responsible for securing your devices and access links.
5. pricing, payments, and refunds
Package prices are displayed on the platform. off.clinic may collect payment on the clinician's behalf and issue fiscal documents in accordance with the applicable mandate and fiscal workflow.
- If the clinician does not deliver within the promised SLA, the request may expire and the payment may be refunded according to the package rules.
- Fiscal documents and payments are handled through external providers such as Stripe and invoicing providers.
6. data, confidentiality, and record retention
- Health data is processed under the privacy policy and made available to the selected clinician to provide the service.
- Deleting an account does not necessarily mean immediate deletion of all consultation records; some data may need to be retained or anonymised where law, defence of legal claims, or professional obligations require it.
- Fiscal records are retained for the period required by accounting and tax law.
7. suspension, limitation, and changes
- We may suspend access in cases of abuse, fraud, security risk, professional-verification mismatch, or breach of these terms.
- False, misleading, or expired professional information may lead to rejection, suspension, or account closure.
- We may change the platform and these terms; the latest-update date will be shown on this page.
