verification and eligibility policy

off.clinic verifies identity consistency and right-to-practice status before a doctor can work on the platform. In certain approved categories, off.clinic may also approve other licensed independent specialists, such as dietitians, where remote written guidance is lawful and appropriate.
We verify identity consistency and right-to-practice status. The clinician remains responsible for all other legal and professional conditions required to practise.
1. what we verify
- Current right-to-practice evidence or equivalent professional-status evidence for the approved category.
- Stripe identity verification where required to activate payment flows.
- Manual comparison of the Stripe-verified name with the name shown on the right-to-practice evidence and the platform digital practice.
2. what we do not promise and do not routinely host
- off.clinic does not routinely host every professional document that may be required by law for lawful practice.
- off.clinic does not guarantee or insure the clinician's full professional compliance obligations.
- The clinician remains personally responsible for malpractice cover, licences, registrations, approvals, and any other legal conditions that apply to them.
3. clinician warranties
- The clinician warrants that they hold and maintain all licences, approvals, registrations, and professional insurance required by law.
- The clinician warrants that they act only within their lawful scope of practice.
- The clinician warrants that the professional and identity information provided to off.clinic is true, accurate, and up to date.
4. mismatch, doubt, and fraud
- We may ask for clarification or additional information where a mismatch or reasonable doubt exists.
- We may reject or suspend onboarding if the right-to-practice evidence, verified identity, and platform digital practice do not match.
- False, misleading, or expired professional information is a material breach and may lead to suspension, retention of relevant records, and cooperation with lawful authority requests where appropriate.
